Justin Bieber Speaks Out About Death Of Liam Payne

Justin Bieber has spoken out about the death of Liam Payne.

The star died after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires. He had allegedly arrived earlier this month to attend his former bandmate, Niall Horan’s concert.

The 31-year-old had been visiting Argentina with his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy. On October 14, Cassidy took to TikTok to share why she had to leave Payne and head back to the US.

She said: “Travel back to Florida with me. I was so ready to leave.

“Honestly, I love South America but I hate staying in one place for too long and we were supposed to be there for like five days and it turned into two weeks and I was just like I need to go home.”

Multiple witnesses shared that Payne fell from his room on the third floor of the Casa Sur Palmero Hotel not long after 5pm on 16 October.

Authorities have now confirmed that he died from “multiple traumas” that caused “internal and external bleeding”.

An autopsy was then performed on the body by Forensic Medical Corps at the Judicial Morgue on Viamonte Street. Infobae then got access to the results.

His injuries were consistent with a 10-metre fall. A  toxicological and anatomical-pathological study will be done on his blood and urine to determine if any drugs were in his system at the time of his death.

The Mobile Criminalistics Unit of the City Police of Buenos Aires found some items at the scene including a bottle of whiskey, a lighter, and a phone that may have been his and will be examined. His fingerprints were on all the items.

A white powder was also found alongside side energy pills and various medications such as clonazepam.

Police in Argentina are still investigating the scene. The post-mortem showed the cause of death to be “multiple injuries and internal and external haemorrhaging as a result of the fall.”

The authorities are treating his death as a “doubtful death” and paperwork suggest that there could be two people facing criminal charges.

Bieber shared a tribute to the star on social media. Posting a video of the tributes left behind by fans of Payne’s, Bieber wrote ‘Rest easy Liam.’.

A voiceover on the video said: ‘Just remember: you are allowed to grieve as a fan. You are allowed to love someone you’ve never met.

‘You are allowed to admire someone for their art. You are allowed, to cry, to break, to feel like a part of you is gone.’

The pair had been chart rivals throughout their careers but Payne later shared that they eventually re-connected. Speaking on the Logan Paul podcast in 2022, Payne said: ‘I was like, “well the only thing between me and him is I haven’t been arrested”,’. He later added ‘It started some beef.’

He shared that he told Bieber: ‘I’ve always felt for you… number one, I’ve done all the things that you’ve done and I’ve never been caught for any of them… number two, I’ve always really felt for you, mate, and I think in our situation we all suffer from the same disease,’.

It was reported that he had 25 found injuries and all of them were assumed to be from the fall. Meaning that the “the intervention of third parties would be ruled out,” for the moments directly before the fall.

A resurfaced clip of the star has gained popularity since his passing. Payne welcomed his only child, Bear, in 2017 with then girlfriend, Cheryl Tweedy.

The pair then split the following year and were co-parenting.

In the clip from Payne’s 31st birthday in August, he called his son a ‘mini me’ and shared: “I didn’t get any dad socks yet though. I’m going to speak to my son in a little bit which I’m really excited about,”. “Bless him. He’s getting so big now. He’s a big boy and he looks like a mini me. As if we needed any more me in the world.”

It has now been revealed that Payne amassed an incredible wealth of £46 million throughout his career.

MailOnline reported that his seven-year-old son will inherit £30 million from his late father.
